Karnatak Science College is a constituent college of the Karnatak University, Dharwad. The college is located in fifty five acres of hill with ever green natural vegetation and well balanced bio-diversity, beautiful and spacious class rooms, and well equipped laboratories. This college is popularly known as KCD (now KSCD), and has produced many eminent personalities, not only in the field of science and technology, but also in law, education and business. More than two thousand students from all walks of life and culture study in this college every year. The academic atmosphere on the campus makes our students sharp thinkers, critical writers, eminent speakers and excellent academic achievers. This is an institution which is known for liberal education in basic and applied sciences in North Karnataka. In the present world of competition, the faculty members and students of KSCD have learnt to continuously innovate and re-adopt themselves to the changing world. The college, under the guidance of dynamic management headed by The Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. K. B. Gudasi, of Karnatak University continues to encourage the improvement of infrastructural facilities and human resources in order to enhance academic excellence, spirituality, social relevance and the overall personality development of students belonging to all sections of society.
